This year’s X Factor marks the return of Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, along with a luxury finalists’ house.
Following the gruelling first few round of auditions, it is fast approaching finals time, which sees contestants housed in a luxury London pad.
We love a challenge and have unearthed where the X Factor contestants will be living. The properties are always stunning and this year is no exception.
We have been able to pin down the street via Zoopla and can exclusively revealed the exact location of the multi-million pound pad.
The detached property is currently listed for sale with an asking price of £2,500,000.
It comes complete with an outdoor swimming pool and beautiful landscape gardens. It has eight bedrooms and six bathrooms.
Statons, the estate agents handling the sale, describes the property as a “stunning” family home.
It explained the Enfield property has been recently refurbished and covers 6,400 sq ft arranged over four floors.
The X Factor contestants will be able to enjoy walk-in dressing rooms, a sauna, a gym and an orangery.
The average asking price of a property in the area is £1,147,120, with a typical monthly rent being £2,698.
The house is just around the corner from the X Factor studios in Wembley.
Filming has begun for a new series of the controversial reality TV show Benefits Street. But this time, it is set in a new location.
The Chanel 4 programme made a huge impact in its first series as it followed a close-knit community where many of the residents were on benefits.
It proved to be addictive viewing despite complaints that the participants were being exploited and the show was nothing more than ‘poverty porn’.
Its popularity made a star of Deirdre Kelly, better known as White Dee, who is currently appearing in Celebrity Big Brother.
The first series was filmed in James Turner Street in an area of Birmingham known as Winson Green.
And now the location of the second series has been unveiled as a street in Teeside.
It is Kingston Road in Stockton, which was once reported as being among the ‘most deprived’ streets in the country.
It compares to an average property value of almost £150,000 in Stockton-on-Tees, where prices have risen more than £5,000 during the past year.
The highest value street in the area is Aislaby Road where the average value of a home is £558,534, while the highest turnover is in Grey Street and Fairdene Avenue.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have allegedly bought a $20m mansion in California’s Hidden Hills.
If the reports are true, it will be a very expensive change of mind for the celebrity couple, who are currently in the middle of renovating another multi-million pound property in Bel Air.
The new home is understood to have everything that one of the world’s most talked about couples could wish for – including multiple pools and even their own vineyard.
The property is also said to the be in the same neighbourhood as the reality star’s Mum, meaning that Kris will be on hand for any last minute babysitting duties.
The couple are set to sell the Bel Air once the renovations are complete, and move instead into the luxury Hidden Hills mansion, which boasts a pool house that is bigger than the average family home.
That property may now be off the market, but what else is available in California’s Hidden Hills?
1. Live in style in the Hidden Hills with this six bedroom property. It boosts a dual wrought iron staircase, plantation shutters and Brazilian Cherry wood floors.
2. This four bedroom property has a romantic country English theme and boasts four new bathrooms, a living room and a cosy den.
3. Live in a prestigious guard gated community with a 24 foot living room ceiling and Italian marble fireplace at his six bedroom property.
A three bedroom London where Jamie Oliver filmed the original series of The Naked Chef has gone on the market for almost £3m.
More than a decade ago, Jamie made his television debut at the Clerkenwell flat in The Naked Chef. The programme featured the spiral staircase in the opening credits, the cobbled street where Jamie parked his moped and the kitchen where he cooked his ‘pukka tukka’.
Jamie and his wife Jools lived in the property – paid for by the BBC – while filming the first two series of The Naked Chef.
The programme was ground-breaking in its day with the use of jumpy, close up camera work and Jame’s relaxed cooking style, which would see him tear up herbs rather than chop them.
Each episode would be based around a social event in Jamie’s life, such as cooking for his sister’s hen night.
Since moving out, the property has been updated, with a new kitchen, a spa bathroom and ensuite bedrooms. It is currently on the market for £2,995,000.
John Athanasiou, of estate agents Stirling Ackroyd, said: “When you go up the spiral staircase in this particular property, people can’t help but be impressed with the bright and beautifully space.”
Gwen’s home from the popular TV show Gavin and Stacey has gone on the market despite welcoming more than 13,000 fans through its front door.
The Barry property is famed for Gwen’s omelettes and feisty neighbour Doris, and is now one of the key stops on the Gavin and Stacey tour.
The agent’s Alex Easton said: “It also offers a potential business opportunity for someone wanting to continue the frequent tours but unlike the current owner, charge visitors.
“The two double bedroom house is deceptively spacious and includes a very pleasant, south facing courtyard with elevated views across the old docks and Barry Island.”
The property comes with an asking price of £125,000.
The current owners have decided to sell up and an open day is being held on August 2 between 10am and 1pm.
Homeowner Glenda Kenyon told the Daily Mirror: “Since the filming of Gavin and Stacey, I have welcomed over 13,000 visitors to the house including organised coach tours on a weekly basis.
“I will miss both the street and Barry, but having lived here for over 30 years, I feel it’s time for a change and plan to move to Swansea.”
